Philosophy PDF Print E-mail

Our philosophy is that each client should be treated individually, respectfully, with the care and attention that their case deserves.

For that reason we purposefully limit the number of cases which we take each year. We do not work on "volume" like other law firms.

Our clients should be confident that their case will be handled by the attorneys and support staff whom they get to know.

Estate Planning PDF Print E-mail

Many people think of estate planning as merely writing a will or trust to leave assets to family. However, we believe that every Estate plan should contain:

  • a general durable power of attorney;
  • a general durable banking power of attorney;
  • a heath care power of attorney;
  • a living will/advanced health care directive;
  • irrevocable burial trust; and medicaid planning.

Estate planning prepares you for an uncertain future and helps make sure that you and your assets will be taken care of as you intend. Very few (if any) of our clients have a “crystal ball”, however, most have never thought twice of purchasing automobile insurance. The reality is the only difference between having auto insurance and an “Estate Plan” is that auto insurance is mandated by Pennsylvania state law. Good estate planning should involve more than just inserting your name into pre-made documents. We individually guide you through a process of clarifying your goals and needs, and then work with you to design a thorough estate plan that best fits your objectives.
